The Southern Upland Way runs coast to coast 212 miles (340 km) from Portpatrick on the south-west coast of Scotland to Cockburnspath on the eastern coast. It is fabulous walking! Euchanfoot lies at the juncture of 2 sections of the route - St Johns Town of Dalry to Sanquhar & Sanquhar to Wanlockhead. These are the longest and shortest sections of the route respectively. Sanquhar has many places of interest - Sanquhar Castle, a historic walk, the Tolbooth Museum and the oldest Post Office in the world!
Southern Upland Way walkers find Euchanfoot Bed and Breakfast ideally situated between these two stretches.
